One of the most memorable events in the history of the Cinémathèque suisse: in June 1988, the Palais de Beaulieu was refurbished to host the screening of Abel Gance’s masterpiece, Napoleon (1927), accompanied by the music of Carl Davis, performed by the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne (OCL).
